NPC/monster/mobiles disarming characters and the disarmed item falling to the ground

I'm in favor of some NPC's/monsters/mobiles disarming characters 1) during combat, 2) to provoke combat or 3) in peaceful rooms after requesting characters unwield all weapons. The reason is, that's part of the excitement of fighting particular monsters. Because PCs usually have a player's advantage, I believe NPC/monster/mobile items should disarm to their inventory while PC items should disarm to the ground (to a takeable status within the mud room the character is in). Stylistically, NPCs like Dracula or some high level Wizard* should be able to disarm character weapons directly to other NPCs, who then hold, wield, leave, attack...*or perhaps directly to a jar in a secret room,...while Dragons should have some chance of eating a disarmed weapon or biting hard and it falls back to the ground for the moment.

1 forceably disarmed in a peaceful room, 2 pushing, slapping, wrestling, flipping the NPC who disarmed you, 3 the NPC pushes, slaps, wrestles, flips you back (%chance): the room allows combat (tough to code!). An implementation would be in a monastery or monk temple.
Dragon biting adds a tempered flag to swords, axes and other bladed weapons.
